The sun shone today and I soaked up every moment of it. I turned my face towards the ball of heat and took a big breath. I rolled that sunshine up in my hand, placed it in my pocket near my heart, and will save it for a a bleak and snowy day.
The leaves crunched, the kiddo squealed, and I was happy.

Fall is my favoite season. I suppose if I lived as far north as you, I wouldn't be as hip on winter as I am. I'm looking forward to the snow.

And I like the picture of rolling the sunshine and placing it close to your heart. I think the hardest part of fall for me is that the sunshine is becoming less and less. I gulp down the vitamin D but the 'inside darkness' seemed to grow anyway. I think I am learning to live with it but every so often I rant! Thanks for reading!

I (and my kids) am loving fall! It was so carefree to hold the hand of my little 5 year old and jump in a pile of leaves. Love those moments that turn into wonderful memories!
