While perusing the internet I have seen this photo accompanied by a recipe several times:
My exhausted brain fools me and for a split second I think I see this:
In that teensy second, my brain whirls with cheering, fireworks, and the image of confetti shooting through the air. In the next moment, I can vaguely hear the sound of a balloon letting out air. It's
just cauliflower.
The end.

That's what I thought it was, at first, too.

HAHA! It's much like that ridiculous watermelon cake that made the rounds this summer. http://www.handimania.com/cooking/no-bake-watermelon-cake.html
Let's just say if anybody made this for my birthday... we would no longer be friends. hehe

Oh my! I had to snort with laughter when I read this!! :) A friend of mine posted this picture on FB, and for a brief second I thought, hmm, FRIED - should be good... then my brain said: "um, no. Its just cauliflower!!!" :) :)
Ok - but I want to eat that cauliflower!!! You can have the turkey!
So funny! I see a turkey as well. But, fried cauliflower is good. You silly gal!
I thought the same thing when I first saw it... but being on an eating plan that eliminates a lot of carbs I actually tried the recipe and it's YUMMY! So... don't knock it till you've tried it :D
Hi Cheyenne!
That's funny. I do love turkey photos and I'm all about new ways to make veggies bake up all pretty and tasty. I hope you are faring well in your neck of the woods and that the children are healthy.
Boil a whole Cauliflower in a big pot of water until almost done. Drain it and place in a baking dish. Smear on a generous layer of mayonaise and sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese...bake or broil until the cheese is melted and turning brown. Try to share with the rest of the family:) I really enjoyed your blog:)Desiree
Desiree,
Thank you for stopping by & your kind words.
Maybe, just maybe, I will have to give that cauliflower a shot. :)
Come by again.
Hey Folks it's TANDOORI cauliflower (without a tandoor) which is AWESOME if you ever care to give it a try, it is not fried and it is NOT a gimmick.
