Let Her Sleep
You think the mother sneaking around in the dark with a giant flash might have something to do with this one's lack of sleep? Who is the mother of this kid, anyway?
Can you count the soothers? I'll give you the prize of a full night's sleep, if you can guess the actual amount of soothers in this crib. Little Baloo has been known to peek over her nest in the morning with a soother or two, tucked into the top of her gro-bag like an office man with pens in his suit pocket.
Let's have a public opinion poll. Is this overkill?
Reeeally?

We cherish the soothies here! I count four, and we always keep two in the crib. They are priceless!
Toooo cute!
Nope not overkill - you can never ever have too many soothers. I liked the glow-in-the-dark ones (no idea if you can still buy them or not) so I could find them in the middle of the night. Soothers = sane momma!
LOL... well.. I SEE four, are there more?
Reed never took one! Couldn't figure out how to hold it in his mouth. I always figured it had something to do with the feeding tube while he was in the NICU!
Never too many! A child who can find her own in the night is a child who won't wake up mom to find it for her!
As with pumpkin pie: If ome is good then more must be better.
Well, I see four of them, but I can bet there are at least two more underneath there somewhere! :)
My kids never really took soothers or if they did, they gave them up after a few months all on their own. They would have been nice for my red-head who screamed daily from 4pm until bedtime. Or in church when I am trying to keep them quiet(er). And my middle child found her fingers, and I can't take those away.
Your little one looks so precious sleeping that I can't blame you for the flash photography!
That is as sweet as can be!!! Yes, I see four or 'em. Love how her hands are up under her head, that is the most precious thing, sleeping babes! :)
Awww she is adorable!!! I loe watching babes sleep. And too many soothers, never!
More than 4? I may guess she has the same loves as our E with clutching one in each sleepy paw, too. Perhaps a couple more? :) Sweet little one.
I see four, but I bet she had 6...at least
Too cute! I counted 4 and my niece is the same way. She's got one in her mouth, one in her hand and if she's got pockets she's got one in there too. :) Happy sleeping!
I spy 4 soothers and 1 absolutely beautiful little baby girl. Oh my goodness. What a precious picture. I hope you enjoy a peaceful night's sleep :)
My little granddaughter is almost 6 months old and has just begun to show an interest in hers when she gets ready to sleep. It's a real handy tool! :D
Your photo is so sweet. Only 4 showing, but who knows! She may have a few tucked away for an emergency!
Debbie
if YOU can get some sleep it is not overkill!
Love the picture!
I spy four! I don't know if there is a better picture of innocence in this world than watching our littles while they sleep. She's a cutie pie!
WHat I want to know is how do you keep the 'suckies' as they are known in our casa, in the bed with her? I don't know how many times I've had to get up in the night and crawl under her bed to find all THREE of them!
Sweet picture!
I see 4 but how many are underneath and inside the blankie?
I shall not judge. A sound sleep by you AND baby are well, WORTH GOLD. DIAMONDS. Whatever is of more value. Sadly our little has a favorite one...and it is clear. Awesome.
That. Is. So. Cute! Love it- I often sneak in my boys' room to peak at them while their sleeping! There's never too many soothers around here either! Don't feel at all guilty! ;)
I hope to see you soon- I'm coming up there for Nov. 4th weekend! xo
Hah! No way is that overkill. If it works, why not? We always had lots of spares for our kids and nieces and nephews. Tucking them into each corner of the crib, because you know how little ones travel in their sleep. What a sweetie. Happy Thanksgiving.
Oh, and I'm guessing seven, because that may have been the number we used.
So sweet. i love that picture. we had lots of "binkies" in our crib too!
How angelic... soothers and all!
